verbminxHmm... I think I lied about that last thing, but after my little cry (and about a dozen calls from relatives about my grandmother) I got some sleep.
I watched X-Files (which I still watch... why, exactly? it's morphed into this weird show that bears resemblance to itself but just... isn't), went out to grab lettuce that my mom didn't buy during the day and finally, the yarn that I had been wanting to make a little throw for my grandmother.
my grandmother's hip replacement surgery went fine, but we'll see how the recovery goes... she already has a ton of problems in her legs and has had several surgeries for poor circulation.
anyway, after I came home, I watched Jonathan Creek and totally fell asleep just afterwards. I think I was out for about three hours... I just woke up thirsty, hot, and uncomfortable (overalls not being comfortable to sleep in). I might try to go back to sleep, but I think I'm more likely to go do Medical Things today.
