I haven't had much to say today. Had a leisurely evening. Drank Moroccan Mint green tea, and ate yogurt with berries in it.

Nurtured my friends page by actually catching up on it & posting comments and such. I've been behind lately, constantly trying to read three days at once.

I'm doing all my mother's laundry tonight, as a favor. She has three exams tomorrow. She studies obsessively. I can't think of too many spare moments since January when she hasn't had a math book in front of her nose. She has classes two days per week but goes to school every day that the labs are open (her courses have computer tutorial programs). They aren't hard classes but she's had a lot of trouble with them, so I feel bad for her & am trying to make things a bit easier. I'll go get breakfast in the morning, too.

Me? Since I'm ahead in TMM, I might crack open something else tonight... perhaps get back to House of Leaves, or pull out London Fields (Amis) or The Chess Garden (Brooks Hansen... I've had it for a while, have barely touched it). Or get some work done. Always it ends up being a mix.

isn't "house of leaves" Poe's brother? i heard she used a bit from it in her newest single. it sounds interesting!

yes. actually the whole "haunted" album is a sort of companion to the novel. i have both, but aside from a few songs like "5-1/2 Minute Hallway" I haven't really compared the two yet... need to actually read the book first. I got it for xmas and have just had various other things to do and read since then.
