verbminxI just got home a few minutes ago. I went to Target and then out for lunch with Lou. This was pleasant enough.
After the last entry, I took a shower (revelling in the gingery stuff) and got dressed and ate (noodles with honey ginger chicken sauce). Today I am wearing a pair of dark rinse stretch jeans and my Josie and the Pussycats shirt. My hair is looking bad and really needs to be dyed.
On the way out to Target I saw a big gold van that said something on it like "Canadian Border Transport". I thought to myself, "Wow, it's really cool of them to bring the Canadian Border all the way down to Florida!" (ha. ha. ha.)
I'm almost distressed by how uninteresting the stuff that I got at Target is - mostly things like lightbulbs, toilet paper, laundry detergent. I got a desk lamp, and one of those floor lamps with 3 spotlights on it. For fun I got a cute candleholder shaped like a cat, and funny happy bat-shaped lights on a string.
Got home and set up the desk lamp in my messy work area, which I need to clean up today, and got to work on it. Did some dishes, took out the garbage a day early because the stench was becoming unpleasant. I'm probably going to spend the rest of the day just doing housework... there is so much that I need to get accomplished.
