it's hoppy ether sundae. i'm pro-bunny & otherwise neutral. my mother used to make me read the crucifixion story aloud the night before easter. then i'd wake up with a huge basket o' crap. i have almost as many plush bunnies as i do years in my life...

anyway.

tonight, went to see Bridget Jones. Not the best movie I've ever seen, and not something I'm likely to want to watch again and again (cannot admit the unhealthy number of times i've seen things like sliding doors and never been kissed), but cute and entertaining. i've never understood colin-firth-as-sex-symbol, and still don't, but renee zellweger was far better than expected, and actually did really well in the role. didn't like Movie Bridget as much as Book Bridget (who has a tarter tongue & gets in much more trouble). movie Bridget was too AllyMcSchmeel, though not quite as bad as Ally.

bought clearance stuff at the gap. a little sundress in black with lilacs on it, and a few tank tops. yay sales. i also ordered a shirt last night, a longsleeve black version of something i have in a pale pink baby tee. i think i am done with summer clothing shopping, except that i do need a black bra to wear under my numerous red and black tanks. current bra has padded fleshtone straps & i would rather not show my "nude" straps to the world at large. there are limits to tackiness. i mean, if your bra strap is showing, it shouldn't be a gross one, right?

Bunnies - yay! Colin Firth - yay! (he's sexy in a sort of broody teddy-bearish way, I guess), Sliding Doors - yay verily yay! I still have to see Never Been Kissed cuz it's got Drew in it and I lurve her... um, and yeah, negatory on the icky bras straps. Get something nice n lacey! :)

It does! Weird! I never knew Delphina was a real place, & though I've known about the site for a long time & occasionally browsed it, I've never ordered from it because I had no idea how the service might be. I got my pink shirt from a Tampa/Ybor shop called "Kicks on Seventh" that sells mostly boots; my friend's roommate had a black one but they only had pink in my size, so pink it was!

Colin Firth is dreamy with a capital D! After seeing him in "Pride nad Prejudice" a couple years back I just fell in love. He has those eyes that would just melt ya. :) *swoon*
