verbminx(I just edited this post. I was going to remove someone from my friends list not for any personal reason but for practical reasons, but I decided not to. for personal reasons. nothing bad!)
by the way, in the story in which I began detailing the many events of Saturday, September 9th, I would like to comment (since Ragdoll started freaking) that NOBODY HURTS THE PARROT. I'm just using her to make a point about the character of my stepgrandmother and to foreshadow the killer argument I had with the nasty lady just a few minutes further on in the story. OK? OK.
I have been driving myself insane trying to install my Graphire into the new computer. First there were mouse conflicts, then no mouse conflicts but no tablet functionality either, then the himem.sys file went missing and the DOS that came on the system is extremely fucked and won't even recognize my cdrom drive, so I can't retrieve it from the installation cds. Frankly it's really on my tits and I'm going to call the computer place and complain about the configuration of the system, which is their fault, not mine (considering that their store's networking prompts start up whenever Windows does or I make a connection to my ISP). Bah. Why can't everything be nice and trouble-free like the iBook-of-Love I am typing on now?
In a little over 90 minutes I need to leave to go to the laundromat. The night has really gone zooming by... and I don't mean that in a good way at all.
