verbminxI'm not at all remotely pleased about what happened to Benazir Bhutto -- actually, I'm pretty upset -- but I'm not surprised, either.
I always thought it was a matter of "when," not "if."
I had the distinct impression, when she returned to Pakistan a few months ago, that it would be to die, probably relatively soon... a feeling that she was headed for disaster.
But this is one of those occasions where I wish I hadn't been right.
