you're welcome

Heroes tonight was more or less predictable, but I'd be surprised if I was the only person who, just after the flurry of text messages between Claire and her nerdy swain, piped up,

Im on ur lawn, throwin ur stonez!

Internet memes may actually be the lowest form of humor.

That meme is actually from gaming. I find it interesting that so many non-gamers adopted it.

I know it's from gaming, but it's an "internet meme" precisely because non-gamers adopted it... I think more people know it from various boards or LJ or YTMND than from gaming, at this point, oui? "All your base..." is from gaming too (well, mostly), but it's another thing that quickly outstripped that world.

I'm always surprised that "the internets" quickly caught on (that is, the Bushism) and also "teh" - yeah, common mispelling, but it seems to have mostly caught on because of "because anime is teh s uck" in a message-board quote on an Adult Swim bump. Whereas - lots of people know the thing Ted Stevens said about the internet being a series of tubes, etc, but the whole "intertubes" thing hasn't really caught on that widely.

wait a second.... :D
