I think it's pretty similar. I keep having to explain to my mom that it's not that Target is such a perfect shopping experience - it's a discount department store, after all - it's that it's nicer than the other discount department stores, which is all it has to be. And yeah, a walk through the store reveals at least one or two temptations.
I was so freakin' happy lately when the little purse dangles they intro'd earlier this year went on clearance, because I wanted the robot one but refused to pay $5 for it; it was totally one of those "things you don't need but really really want" issues. Someone bought it for me when it was $2.50 though. Now I have a little pleather robot keychain! :D
