OK, so, one of my nostrils is all clogged with an endless stream of clear mucous, and the other is open and can be used to breathe. So I decide, I'm going to blow my nose and try to clear out this clogged nostril.
What comes out of the clogged nostril? Nothing, unless I hold the other one closed, which really isn't healthy. In that case, lots and lots of clear snot.
But if I blow my nose without closing a nostril? The "clean" nostril starts shooting out thick greenish stuff.
AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
(I took antibiotics earlier this week that are supposed to stay in my system for 10 days. If this situation isn't mostly cleared up by Monday, I'll go to the doctor. Yeah, I wanna see if the meds work first, because I can't really afford to go.)
