just wait until you see how cunningly they combine clothes from the late 1600s with clothes from the mid-1700s. my teeth were on edge. but i loved the other aspects of the movie so much that i have to let go the fact that elizabeth's father spends the movie basically in low-key late Restoration clothing and all the navy guys are totally done up in clothes at least 50 years later.
have you ever been on the ride? there are so many great references to the ride. the ride is the bestest thing EVER. i think i've been on it like 3 times, and the movie captures its mood well.
