I'm alive.
Slacked and knitted on Monday and fought off a headache that is part of the sinus problems I have been having this week. I watched some taped TV shows that I'd missed, and knitted on a sock.
Went out yesterday to return some things that the momster bought to wear to that wedding, and ended up not needing. Long evening. Picked up an issue of Juxtapoz - which I haven't bought in a few months because it's been boring lately - anyway, I like the Sci-Fi Cowboy issue that I picked up. Borders didn't sell it and Barnes and Noble did, so I am unsure of which store was carrying the newest issue. I also got the new Beadwork, which isn't too boring.
& then I came home and stayed up late watching Casino Royale, which is funny and stylish but a little too long. Vesper Lynd and Miss Moneypenny, and their various negligees and hairstyles and apartments, were the best things; the long, silly Mata Bond subplot was the worst part, though the temple dance was nifty and the Dr Caligari dance school setup was a hoot. The whole movie is a parade of high 60s style, along with The Bliss of Mrs Blossom and Barbarella.
Today I am fighting off another sinus headache, or the same one. No plans for tonight. Probably cleaning my room a bit - I had all these folded clothes on a chair, and they slid off of it, and are now all over the floor in the doorway, difficult to step over. Auk auk!
