I was impressed with Cruise as Lestat, wasn't sure he could pull it off. The age thing I didn't even consider. Stuart Townsend looked too pretty boy from what I saw in the previews... too soft.
Julien is yummy! All the Mayfairs from his generation led way more interesting lives. Stella would be a fun character to play in the movie. I liked Michael just because he is that tough blue-coller type (with $$ anyway). Rowan is a little too quiet and reminds me of a deer caught in headlights. I'm blanking on the Talamasca guy too. I keep thinking Stuart because there is a Talamasca guy named that but not the older guy. Everytime I read that book I want a big cup of coffee with chicory and real cream and sugar. *grins*
Lasher is good also but you have to be ready to sit down and read it... it is long. Big commitment. Taltos is good also (3rd book). I think I'm gonna have to reread those after I finish my Heinlein book now!
