verbminxI'm getting ready to leave for the annual family Xmas trip! fun fun. Lots of packing left to do. I'm very scattered mostly because I haven't decided what to wear. Tomorrow it'll probably be a pair of jeans, a red Vneck merino wool sweater, and my punkass studded belt. But I am still undecided, and it's easy to overpack.
Got a present from Miss Xrys today! supercool! it's a book of Japanese street fashion photography. Makes me think of the guy in Kera who was wearing a monkey stuffed animal (you know, the kind they sell everywhere that look like spider monkeys and have velcro on the paws) as a scarf. But I don't think I shall wear the cat (in the same design) that is in my mother's stocking as a scarf tomorrow, since I have a perfectly nice scarf to use as a scarf. (I even made it myself.) Anyway, yay for Xrys and thanks. (She won't get to read this for a while, since she's away.)
The kitties know something is up and are zooming around the house, crying a lot, and wanting lots more attention than usual. I'll miss them but I think they will be OK for two days. They're fine with being alone as long as there is lots of food and water.
I should have Little Boy (the iBook) with me at the hotel, so I'll probably be around at some point tonight or tomorrow (though probably not on AIM). If I'm not, I hope everyone who celebrates it has a nice Christmas. (and I hope everyone who doesn't just has a fun Tuesday!)
