verbminxToday I had such a bad time getting registered for next semester's classes.
So, I go to see an advisor, having filled out my little form of classes that I want to take, and they tell me that I've never been a student at this school (uh, scuse me, I have been going to this school on and off for almost TEN YEARS and I have A DEGREE), and that they can't register me. Well, specifically, I cannot possibly have ever been a student at this school because they do not have my high school transcript. And then the woman starts grilling me with questions about whether or not I graduated from HS (YEAH, IN 1994!) and whether or not I sent my transcript over. How the hell am I supposed to remember? It was almost eight years ago and I have not had this registration problem until now.
She went over to admissions and they showed her that I do indeed have a degree, so they waived the hold. But they still deny all knowledge of me ever having graduated from high school. (Since then, I have remembered, and I believe that at the time the college automatically accessed the transcripts from your high school. But STILL!)
Then I went over to the VA office to register for the benefits I haven't been using in the past few years (one semester I just... forgot to register...) -- and found out that I am eligible for NADA because of my degree, even though I changed my program of study and have to get all my prerequisites before I go on to another school.
Then I went out to dinner.
And it's really cold out, and again, I am underdressed. So I came home to change. I think that I will stay here and wear warm pajamas or something.
Oh, I also had a "bang trim" before I ruined my day by going out to the college.
I was supposed to go over to Nathalie's today but she seems to be MIA, and it's getting late anyway, so... I think I'm opting for an evening indoors.
