My grandmother is having tests in the hospital today: she is jaundiced because of a blocked bile duct. It's either a stone or cancer. They suspect a stone, since it came on very suddenly. However.
It would be really bad if my grandmother died anytime, but especially really bad in the next year or so because my mom is just starting to defragilize from my stepfather's death (it's been about 15 months; i started my LJ a few days before he died). It would also be bad if my grandfather died. I guess nobody is allowed to be terminal for the next few years.
I need to sign up for classes. I'm trying to decide between Printmaking (which I REALLY want to take but which is at like 9AM), Business of Art, Honors Writing pt 2, and that Philosophy class. I don't think I can handle more than 3 classes - though most won't have too many assignments. If I were a grownup I would also take Art History part one again, but frankly I am not a grownup and I would rather EAT GLASS than take that particular class. Philosophy will require the purchase of a lot of books, but I know I already have a few of them, Business of Art has one book and little homework, Writing II has no books probably but more homework than this semester, and I don't know how much Printmaking will cost in supplies.
