Aug. 13th, 2005 03:44 amMy aunt is here from out of state, and my mom's 50th birthday is later today.
I'm working on finishing a small knitting project for her birthday.
I also got her a mug that she wanted, and I'm getting her a bike by the end of the month.
Spent most of the afternoon out. Local Chinese buffet that we thought would be good turned out to be meh... it's not bad, exactly, it's just that they've fallen prey to that bad Chinese buffet habit of putting seafood on the same table as poultry, at which point the taste of the seafood infects the poultry. I was really disappointed, because I haven't been out for Chinese in a while and I haven't found a place that yet replaces this tiny place I used to go in FL.
Ten more rows of knitting, and then I sleep.
