wist's "little book of one-sentence love stories." It is properly titled The Little Book of Water, Roads, Violence, Fireflies, Cigarettes, Heartbreak, Distance, Death, Devastation, and L'Amour. It has contributions from numerous people, including (but not limited to) wist, kore (who also did a pretty drawing of a unicorn for the cover), sharikins, harbours, ligaments, iamatree, and me. One can be yours HERE for $6.
A word about my contribution. It's phrased weirdly, and it wasn't my actual submission, but part of the email I wrote explaining my submission. My actual submission, upon reflection, was annoyingly pretentious and wouldn't have worked. We fixed the main part of the phrasing of an excerpt from my email, and that's what we went with. I crawled up to my room at like 4AM when I was really sick a few weeks ago to write an email approving the use of this particular fragment. A WORK OF LOVE, PEOPLE, THAT'S WHAT THIS IS! A WORK OF LOVE AND PAIN! ;)
