such disrespect.*
Apr. 20th, 2005 12:06 amJust a note...
I haven't talked about it much, but the death of Pope JP2 pretty much bummed me out, for a lot of reasons. I didn't agree with his politics, related to women in the church and sex issues. In his opinions on those, well... he just seemed like someone's kindly Polish grandpa who didn't approve of shacking up. I liked and respected him a lot, and was sadder than I thought I'd be when he died.
Joey the Rat, on the other hand... heh. I doubt I'll miss "God's Rottweiler" when he's gone.
Job situation unchanged. I'm going to give it to the end of next week before I make a permanent decision. It'll be based on how well I do working in the permanent office, with the longish commute and early hours and big aesthetically-disastrous mess I have to dig through.
and now to bed.
* disrespect = I probably shouldn't be referring to "Pope Benedict XVI" as "Joey the Rat."
