My mother called me around 2AM last night, waking me up, to inform me that she'd be arriving home in an hour or so.
She's been driving me crazy ever since. I can't even go into the reasons.
(Though they do involve me wanting to say, "Stop talking every second of the day, stop being such a scatterbrain and get your stuff together, and stop watching TV just to have the TV on.")

Also, my dog has a bladder infection and has to take medicine three times a day. Got her to the vet after definitely establishing that there was a problem, and they said that her white cell count was really high and it's good that we caught it in time, otherwise it could have gone into her kidneys & made her really sick, as opposed to uncomfortable. Poor baby girl!
I am having a lousy evening. I'm supposed to be on a date right now. Or, actually, watching movies with T (which is kind of a date, I guess). Instead I'm in bed early getting ready to sleep, with a splitting headache and sore neck and twitchy legs. I'll write more tomorrow. I made a big dinner tonight and T. came over and ate with me and my mom, and then he and I were going to watch a movie, but neither I nor my mom could get our DVD player to work, so T. and I went back to his house, where I lasted maybe 90 minutes trying to watch TV/movie in excruciating discomfort and then had to come home.

Also, my mother BROKE THE DRIVER'S SIDE MIRROR OFF MY CAR. She took the dog to the vet's in my car the other day, and then decided to back the car into the garage when she got home, and just clipped the damn thing off. I guess she's going to the dealership tomorrow to get it repaired. HOW many years of bad luck is that?

In more cheerful news, the dog seems to be doing better.
