plus: yes my domain is down. need to pay the hosting fee. it will hopefully be back in a few days. i have the money, i just need to get it into my bank account. LJ replies from sunday thru monday afternoon are AWOL.

I'm tired and need to go to sleep soon, but am currently talking on AIM and cleaning my room.

My entire right hand is screwed up, thanks to the dog, my mom, a turkey, and a great amount of foolishness on my part.

Mom, disassembling turkey for stew purposes, commanded me to get curious dog away from turkey. I listened. Dog is naughty, I got the bite. I know better than to try to get ahold of the dog or take something away from her when it's something she wants to eat or play with: she's only distractable with treats and she WILL snap at whoever tries to separate her and her prize if a treat is not offered. Somehow, I did not put this knowledge into action. She needs more training classes. I need more bandages. She managed to get the base of the nail on my thumb and drew blood for the first time in her snappish little life. I have a small, shallow, profusely bloody cut on the cuticle. Have covered it with "spray bandage" - so now the blood is pooling up under the cut. It seems to be slowing down, though, and I'm not worried.

Tonight I'm watching the TCM festival of retro romantic comedies - Julia Misbehaves was on earlier, and it was pretty entertaining. Now it's My Favorite Wife, and housework for me.

Tomorrow night: hanging out with CJ, probably.
