Just busy today trying to get the house in order.
Nothing has proceeded the way I wanted it to, for a couple of reasons.
The first is that I wanted "furniture first, then boxes." Well, that didn't really work that way.
The second is because I wanted to bring boxes in methodically.
Mmm, thanks to the movers not bothering to label most of the boxes they packed (about 60% of the total boxes), we don't know where ANYthing is. Anytime I start unpacking, I have to take extra time out to cover the fact that I'm really, really pissed off about how badly things were packed. So I unpack a little, then I run around the house trying not to OD on pure rage. Then I calm down and I unpack a bit more. I keep having to take breaks in unpacking to do yoga, because otherwise I'd be punching things. (not people. pillows. etc.)
The third is that I have been living out of plastic storage bins since September, so my room is a little bit messy. Not terribly. It's an hour or two of work. I did a lot of it last night. A big problem is just that I don't have anywhere to put anything. I try to put the things I use towards the top of the storage bins.
It all makes me want to hide in bed for a couple of weeks.
We haven't even started to xmas shop for the relatives! We don't have a tree yet! argggghhhh.
On the upside, I'm really starting to feel better today. Glad to not be as sick as I was. Going to go drink some juice to celebrate. :)
