You know, I could post about how I spent my evening, in detail, but that would be really dull. (Capsule: found local PO Boxes, hit Linens N Things & got much needed stuff including !!new down comforter!!, had dinner at UNO, stopped at Borders to unsuccessfully look for a tea mug, drove around a few places just to show my mom how to get around.)

Much more interesting is my warning to those of you who wear makeup: there is a tip running around with regards to blush placement and undereye circles. PAY NO ATTENTION TO IT. I have nigh-cadaverous circles right now because of the flulet. I put blush on my cheeks, high on my cheekbones, near where they join my eye, just where some makeup artist or other said to in some magazine I read recently. IT DOES NOT WORK. Just wear your blush, if you wear it, wherever you'd normally wear it, and don't even make any attempt to use it to make yourself look more awake. If you look like a sheet you probably feel like sheet and you should wear it well. (Hey, if you look a little pale and tired because you're getting over something, it's probably better anyway, so that people know you haven't been feeling well and they shouldn't give you too much of a hard time!)
