Hmmm... I got up early, early, early this morning, for a showing that was supposed to happen at noon. Too early. I waited around all morning, then got ready, then took off for a while, only to get a call from my mother, when I got where I was going (bookstore - the one that tried to hire me the other day, actually) telling me that the showing had been cancelled. I was already out, so I sat in the bookstore and read for a while and tried to ignore the very loud kids in their early teens who were reading each other parts of books from the Sex section.
Boy, Al Franken really hates Ann Coulter. (Can't say I blame him, but the level of contempt he has for her is pretty astounding to see in print.) Yeah, one of the books I was reading was LIES and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them. What I read of it (most of the sections discussing the myth of the supposed "liberal media bias") was interesting, and I'd like to read more sometime when a 12 year old boy isn't cackling ORGASM! HA HA HA! ten feet away.
Ahem.
Now I'm just home doing the packing thing. Well, the thinking-about-packing thing, anyway.
Because proper planning is important in terms of a venture of this size.
Especially when you're really just planning to drink tea and take a nap, like me.
