anyway.

have decided that excedrin quicktabs (or whatever the hell they call their dissolving tablets) are manna from heaven, the nectar of the gods, ambrosia, etc. at least for today. i had a really bad headache that they killed in about five minutes. take 'em with water to avoid nasty "crumbling chalk" feeling.

it looks like Houseguest (still hospitalized sans visitors) and Kid (who is taking over the goddamned house & had the audacity, the audacity i tell you, to turn from monarch of the glen to some crap movie on the disney channel tonight, after i let her spend the last week monopolizing the TV with the entirety of Sailor Moon R except for the Alan/Ann (Ail/Ann) Doom Tree thing in the first few episodes) - anyway, it looks like they will be driven to the airport at 10AM on Friday, with Houseguest being picked up on the way. Kid is OK but is no longer on anything near her best behavior. Fortunately even pretty bad behavior is, with her, innocuous.

But I will be really thrilled to have the house back to normal for the remainder of my stay in it. & glad that i will actually get to celebrate my birthday away from all this draaaaaaaama, and relax.

it's sophie dahl, but it looks like me, because my hair is similar and so is my coloring, and because i have been known (ok, frequently) to make that face. I call it FISH FACE... "Feeeeeeesh Faaaaaaaaaace!" (you have to wiggle yr lips up and down while you do this, for it to really be FISH FACE). The face is also good for making random disgusting popping noises.

Yes, I painstakingly colorized it myself on three seperate layers in photoshop (cheeks, eyes, and mouth, at different transparencies), and threw away at least five or six versions of the text, amounting to about ten layers on this version and at least five on an earlier try. This simple version hit me after I did all of the colorization & I'm glad it worked out. What, you think I went to graphic design skool fer nothin'? (Don't answer that!)
