I am having girly problems. I won't go into them. I don't even know if they're really problems, or maybe just personal peculiarities. It's just that they are bothering me and I'm uncomfortable.

Tonight I made my living room look five steps closer to presentable. (Now just fifty steps left.) I cleaned off the big chaise and I threw away a lot of craft debris and put away supplies and rearranged videotapes and etc, ad naus. I have to find something to do with my barbies: i have about 10 super-fancy collectible ones, as well as a few cheap ones to repaint and restyle, and they're all over the little spare sofa and the piano and piano bench. Lots of junk left to sort through, and lots of dust bunnies to neuter, but it's getting better in there.

It's unusually cold here. Normally it's so hot outside that anything under 77 degrees indoors is uncomfortably cold, and on the very hottest summer days, something in the low 80s is most comfortable. But for a while during the cooler months, there are days when 74 feels stuffy and hot. This may be one of those days.

Also, I keep meaning to write some book reviews over in minxbot - I already wrote myself a reminder last week, then promptly ignored it. I'm not really seriously reading anything right now, though I did finish a few things last week. I keep meaning to read Middlemarch or Vanity Fair, but I have to be in that particular mood.

I napped a lot today, and played with the dog. We're all feeling kinda sickly here. There's some cold going around locally. I don't think I have it, though - I think I'm just tiredish. Hopefully I can avoid catching it, hence the resting, on my part. I had weird dreams that felt like they were really happening, and were v. physical and emotional.

Tonight is going to be more of the same as last night - more crafting, more housework, etc.
