parties are best on black friday

I had a long evening out... general craziness around town with hyper_ballad, katesterbp, and a random gang of other people... Val, Yumi, Siobhan, Chris G and Chris W, Nic, Sarah, and Bad Music Rob. Went for coffee first and chatter and I wished I'd brought my knitting cos my hands weren't busy. Just a lot of chatter. Got my Korea Presents from Kat - lots of stickers! Stickers galore! Including Chibi Buddy Christ stickers! Yeehaw. (I have a bulletin board of Korean and Japanese sticker packs... if it's kawaii it must be mine.) Nat and I had been over at my house before that, watching Harry Potter (cos it was on) and eating pizza. Pottery Chris (G.) seems to be a very nice boy; he has a little of the Freddie Prinze Jr look about him, which IMO is far from a bad thing.

Arwen Isobel met Nat today - in the afternoon, and Kat just now when she brought me home, and was a total skittish baby with both of them. I don't know why she has become so shy. She was a little better with K because K does not have dogs & I think The Wenzel could smell Nat's dogs; she seemed to be skittish with K mostly because B-cat was nearby. When K got on the floor with her she seemed engaged, but it would have taken too long for her to get completely over her shyness (we're tipsy and tired, here). I despair of her ever getting her CGC*** award!


***(that's Canine Good Citizen... and it's given when a dog proves that they can handle being around strange people and other dogs and such. My dog just tries to run for the nearest secure area.)
