i don't read fanfic!

Hmmm... I "took a nap" today that lasted for a really really long time. Specifically, about eight or nine hours. So I didn't really get anything done in the afternoon, and I have yet to go to WalMart to acquire The Elf Movie.

I have been tearing up the house looking for this stupid discount coupon that I lost. I bought some things at Express the other day and the guy wouldn't give me the 15% off without the coupon... which has utterly disappeared off the face of the earth. Because I put it in a safe fucking place, if I didn't throw it away entirely, thinking I wouldn't use it. I still have a $15/off certificate that I will go use. But. It would be better if I could find the discount coupon and save EVEN MORE MONEY. blech. But losing the coupon has caused me to do some clutter-cleanup.

Anyway.

So I went to WalMart at about 5AM. Which is really the only time to go, if you must go. I got real strawberries, and I got cherry pop tarts. and about 8467 frozen entrees. i like frozen entrees. i like the smart ones brand. not a weightloss thing. i just like the taste of their "fire-grilled chicken with vegetables" and their mac and cheese. some of their stuff is gross though - the pizza is only tolerable and the turkey is bland. i hate "healthy choice" brand. i usually like stouffer's, though everytime they have something i like, they change the recipe. i've got to stop eating DiGiorno pizza... special love for the spinach/mushroom flavor. It's hard to get and so tasty. a big pie usually feeds me for a couple of days. but it's not the healthiest thing in the world to constantly be eating frozen pizza.

anyway. i got the movie with the elves and hobbits in it. it is on now. i haven't really been watching it, though, so i'm going to start it over. or maybe just take a nap. i also got Labyrinth. which i'm not going to watch today. but soon. and stickers that are based on "TheDog", i think, that japanese thing with the foreshortened dogs with terribly large heads. the new line is called "twisted whiskers" and it's all these animal photos manipulated to make their eyes really big or make them look like they're smiling or blah blah blah. cute though.

the cashier was a nice british lady probably in her late 30s. talking about how much her son loved LOTR and she was happy that he was reading because of the movie. i didnt have the heart to tell her that i don't care for the books at all (jrrt's style puts me to sleep) and i'm a big reader. i just think it's cool that a movie got a kid to read instead of making a kid not bother ("because why bother when you can watch the movie?")

i also got some pez - the ladybug, and Speedy. poor Speedy.

i feel like taking a nap. oh dear.
