Went to see Goldmember tonight... and it was SOLD OUT!!
For all the remaining available showings, anyway.

Oh well, maybe Monday. The movies are never as crowded on Monday or Tuesday. Tonight we couldn't even get a parking space on the front or side of the building.

I had a nice dinner, though.

Also, found the new issues of Vogue Knitting and NYLON... if you want to knit, it might be worth picking up this issue of VK. It doesn't have a lot of easy patterns, but it does have a lot of fairly cool ones using very popular yarns that aren't too hard to find. They did this big feature for their 20th anniversary about "classic" yarns, where they did a design for a popular long-term-favorite yarn from each of many major companies. So I think it's a keeper; the yarns in the patterns won't be going out of production anytime soon. They have a neat little hat for Colinette Point 5, too.

okay, i admit it,

curiosity got the better of me and i had to had to had to had to had to download those Tori Amos Scarlet's Walk sampler songs.

just when i think i'm out, they keep etc etc etc.

so kazaa-lite is running and by morning i'll have an idea what i'm in for.

also, b-cat just growled like a dog. like a dog! he heard a loud noise in the garage. grrrrrrrrrr, he said.

my limbs have betrayed me!

So I've been laid up all day...
I woke up this morning when my lower left calf suddenly cramped up. I said OW and it said I DON'T CARE. It seems to be possible for a leg cramp to pull a muscle, because I've barely been able to walk all day... normally I have to fall down a flight of stairs to do this kind of damage! Oh well, at least it isn't the same leg as usual. I put it in an Ace bandage and am about to put a warm wrap on it (since cold just seems to make it hurt more).

Hypothesis? Well, the other day we assembled this exercise machine of the momster's, "The Gazelle"... it's sort of a cross between a ski machine and a glider. I did a mile on it last night. I GUESS I DIDNT STRETCH ENOUGH. We also have a Total Gym that finally got assembled, but I'm not touching it until my poor leg gets better. Meanwhile, it's tylenol city....
