Aside from which, I've mostly spent the day making minor household accomplishments. I find it very hard to sit still. I wrote out JV's (aka "J-girl's") birthday card and put some stickers in it and mailed it off, along with subscription cards to NYLON (who had better not screw up again), ReadyMade, and Bead & Button. I called C., who wasn't home, so I left a message. I got JV's numbers added into my cellphone. I cleaned off my desk a little, and will proceed to clean it off a little more. I put away the Pez dispensers I got for my birthday with my others, in preparation for a little photographic project, a gallery I'm going to make of them and put on my webpage. I took a shower and did laundry and all that stuff. It's all so banal, but it needs to be done, so it is what has made up my day today.
I am waiting on a check from PayPal which was supposed to take 1-2 weeks and has now taken almost three. I am very irked about this; I have credit card bills to pay, and no cash aside from the small emergency ration left for me by the momster. I am hating my finances right now. Hopefully they will be straightened out in the next few weeks, though.
