Yeah, so we did watch Donnie Darko tonight, finally, and... hm. I'm not sure what I thought of it. I did think it was good, but beyond that... I'll have to think about it, maybe even watch it again. Nathalie was nice enough to take my rentals back to the video store afterwards, as it was on her way home.

Then it was Claudius time.

Why are songs by Godspeed You Black Emperor! so freaking long? Ppl have been trying to get me into them for at least the last year and a half. I like what I've heard, but I get kind of exhausted by the soundscape thing sometimes. I guess I have to be in the mood.

I did indeed get a good night's sleep last night. Like a baby, like a lamb, like a log. Fantastic. But I'm still not going to make it to the bead store... so it's off to the post office to mail a few things, and then... who knows. I really need to do some schoolwork, though.

Also, forgot to mention that I also watched Hedwig last night, and it was another "hmm". I liked it, but I thought the plot, such as it was, was kind of thin, and that it didn't really succeed as a "transgender movie" (but I'm not going to say why, to people who haven't seen it, nor am I seriously suggesting that it was trying to... maybe it's more along gay/genderfuck lines). It was fun, though.

Bad news... I had to drop a few people cos I was feeling overwhelmed with the number of friends posts I was trying to read. I tried to drop only new people or people with whom I didn't feel I had a lot in common. I guess this also means I won't be adding any more new people for a while. I may drop a few more people tonight. Aarrgh... no hard feelings please. It's kind of arbitrary. Some new people have gone simply because I haven't had the chance to get attached to you yet.

Yes, so, I have Things to Accomplish this evening. I am not so much to be feared as to be pitied.
