the grooviest thing, the perfect dream
Apr. 17th, 2002 12:41 amI have done absolutely nothing today, except to watch TV literally all evening (House Invaders, Changing Rooms, 2 eps of Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Frasier, Gilmore Girls, Smallville, a break to cook something, Six Feet Under, Dennis Miller Live) - and make another lariat (this time, golden, yes), which took about three and a half hours. Working on my paper now, then going to sleep. Definitely NOT going to finish for tomorrow. Headachy, a little sick to my stomach too. My mom is still deciding whether or not to drive up to L's funeral, which is Friday afternoon. I got an email from C. today that told me Z-monster was in the paddling pool, so I know the weather is nice there, at least.
I read Blue Monday: Lovecats tonight because I finally received my copy in the mail. So good. I was especially glad that it picked up the threads of a few shorter comics in the series, the one where Victor was trying to decide who to take to the dance, and also the one where the girls have detention on Valentine's Day. & surprised that it had such a lengthy and detailed flashback. & a little relieved that it was more like The Kids Are Alright than Absolute Beginners. Hey, ho, let's go!
