Jan. 7th, 2002 12:36 amSunday night is the night I watch shows on TV and wonder why I still watch them. Seriously, The X-Files and The Practice. Why why why? I guess I still want to know what happens with Mulder and Scully, in the first case (tonight's episode was Mulder-related). In the second case I don't even know what's going on. Tonight I am going to redeem myself by watching the new episode of Sex and the City (west coast feed) and then when those end next month, I will steadfastly await the return of my beloved Six Feet Under (and the concurrent return of my self-respect! hah!)
Still burning CDs. I had to restart the computer yesterday - something I do as infrequently as possible. I have a Serial Experiments: Lain theme up right now, but I guess either it was disabled or I normally keep the sound off. Since restarting the computer last night I've been hearing all the sounds that go with it, and they're hilarious. They make your computer sound like Lain's Navi. Even clicking a drop-down menu makes a sound. This is the loudest that any computer of mine has ever been. (Probably only a few people understand what I'm saying, so to put it in layman's terms: my computer currently sounds like R2-D2, making all these little whistles and beeps and clicks.)
I had a bad dream last night. In part of it I was in a club/theater looking for my clothes, which kept getting scattered around. But later in the dream I was under investigation for murder (of a famous musician's little kid, no less) and I couldn't remember the name of the girl who had taken the photographs that could prove me innocent. Sucked. I woke up before anything was resolved. Tonight I'm taking an Ambien around 2AM so that I can get up on time for my class tomorrow morning...

1:44 AM note: LJ must be down, since I haven't been able to post this. SATC was decent tonight. Will Charlotte and Trey please break up already? Will Carrie and Aidan please break up already? (I don't think I know anyone who doesn't think that Aidan is icky.) I think Samantha and Miranda will end up married. Heh heh heh.
Made some egg-drop chicken soup and drank orange juice with it. That is a complete meal! (Soup noodles have carbs, as do crackers, eggs have protein, and orange juice is a good copout on the vegetable serving issue. I'm sure there are fats in there, too.)
