Nov. 30th, 2001 12:55 pmI ate all my icecream. The other night, actually, but it only just registered.
I just read Andi Watson's Breakfast After Noon. It was just OK. I couldn't get into it that much. We'll see how it settles in my brain. :)
Lots of work to do today... I have to finish three drawings at least.
We are going to put up the Xmas lights on the house later. It will be pretty.

Nov. 30th, 2001 04:39 pmFinished one of my three drawings, started the other two, got my stay-wet acrylics palette prepped and got out some black paint (I have to do a value scale with black paint, I've been putting it off). "Proofread" my mother's report on Becket, which basically meant rewriting it, between the small stuff like misspellings and capitalizations, and the big stuff like completely restructuring sentences and paragraphs. She's doing a lot of research but her writing skills have only ever been so-so, and they get worse when she's flustered. The mere idea of having to do a paper flusters her.
My head hurts. Cervical vertebrae are messed up - those are the ones in your neck - they are really causing a sick ache that crawls up from the back of my skull. I don't have time to "have a headache", though. So I'm going to eat some good food and throw on a warm lavender bodywrap and get back to work.
It looks like I'm having Burger King for dinner later tonight - apparently they have light-up Lord of the Rings cups for $2 with the purchase of any value meal. Guess who wants one? (hint: it isn't me, it's the 46-year-old woman who squeals with glee over her light-up BK Kids Meal Pokemon "Charmander" and her new Rudolph figure that lights up when she presses the tail! :)

Nov. 30th, 2001 06:21 pmOh yes... I added miss Nathalie to my friends list, since she is indeed my friend. I hadn't added her before primarily because I complain too much about when my mother is driving me crazy and I didn't want her to feel in the middle (as she knows the momster in real life). But anyway, here's N, cute as the proverbial button.
I also dropped a few people. All of whom said they weren't going to be updating their journals anymore. LMK if you change your minds, guys. It's not that I don't like you anymore or anything, just that there's no journal there to be linkin' to, let alone reading.
I have had, all day, a hankerin' to hear "Nemesis" by Shriekback. So I got it from Audiogalaxy and now it is playing on my speakers rather than in my head.
