Aug. 21st, 2001 07:20 pmAnother long day. Moderately eventful, but not unpleasant.
First thing - woke up late. Someone who is not me forgot to set their alarm, so I had to be the official waker-upper and tea-maker. We did spill out of the door relatively on time.
Writing class was OK... it's small, and we have no set curriculum. We bring things in to be critiqued, and we critique, and if we haven't brought in much to be critiqued we have to do a paper at the end of the semester. Full stop. No syllabus, no schedule, etc. I'm probably going to bring stuff in starting next week? I'm really not sure. I have a lot of stuff (and a lot of ideas I can start working on) but I'm not sure I want ppl to read any of it yet.
Then there was Design. It's a large full class. It's not all that interesting just yet. It's two hours in uncomfortable chairs (which are nonetheless more comfortable than the ones they replaced). Beyond that I do not have an opinion.
After class we went out for dinner. Finding a restaurant was a chore. So tired from the last two nights of sleep deprivation... and my abs are still so sore from girly cramps that they feel bruised. A delivery I'm awaiting did not arrive today (it should have been here yesterday). I've finished about 1/3 of my homework. The rest of the evening will be devoted to not doing much (specifically, watching anime and drinking tea), and eventually to sleeping, probably early. Huzzah.
(welcome to my exciting world!)
