Aug. 16th, 2001 03:56 pmI am about to start getting ready to make yet another attempt to go get my textbooks. Wish me luck!
Don't hate me 'cause I bought Tori Amos tickets. I was really into Tori in the mid-90s, but... I don't like Tori Amos Fandom and I didn't really like her last album that much. Most of my friends (IRL and virtual) really dislike her.
It occurred to me that Ghost World reminds me of when C. and I were first friends... the first year or two, when we were two girls who just sort of drifted along and worked our jobs and sat around diners quietly cracking on people and making plans for our Fashion Police uniforms and getting drunk and watching, like, Metropolis and old Cure and Front242 videotapes. I feel like sending her a copy. We haven't talked in a year.
I have new friends. One may wish to be semi-anonymous so I will not link them; it's an old friend with a new journal. The others are arthurfranz and thiefcatcher72. yay!
