Jul. 8th, 2001 01:48 pmI didn't sleep very well. N-cat was curled up next to me, but in such a way that I couldn't snuggle much, and his body heat made me too hot. I kept waking up every half-hour or so. Very unpleasant. I finally got up around 7AM or so.
Watched a movie, ate, went out to look for decent curtain rods. So far the contenders are these silvery things from Target with a spiral on each end.
My grandfather had a heart attack this morning at 5AM; he's in the hospital. My mom is freaked out. I keep telling her that her freaking out is not going to change or help, nor is feeding the frenzy by conducting nonstop conversations with her siblings. (On top of this, my grandmother, who has been in the hospital with a broken hip for two months, is in a convalescent home now... she was just moved this week.)
