First thing - everyone send good wishes and hugs to Gina, whose mom is seriously ill.

I slept a lot today and since I've been awake, I've been tired. Achy too. Perhaps I overdid it last night? (not with my activities... the most stressful thing I did was driving... but with the cheeseburger and shake and cocktail.)

anyway, yeah. I think I am going to go lie down and work on TMM. I'm behind and not finished yet with last week's reading, and this week, we finish the book. I should catch up, obviously. & hopefully I'll fall asleep a bit early tonight.

(oh wait! i ordered a black silk and lace babydoll from the Victoria's Secret catalogue, since I have a credit balance. It arrived yesterday and I haven't had the chance to try it on yet. I'll try on my nightie, then crash into bookland. Sounds like a plan!)

the babydoll fits like a dream, i've read several chapters, my mother is still awake (thereby severely infringing on my Alone Time, such as it is), and finally, so am I. I don't really want to be awake. I'm not tired enough to sleep, just... achy. and bored. and a little hungry.

we went out for breakfast. the ocean is like glass today, and smells saltier than usual.
i had an omelette with many things in it.
i was going to go get my blood tests, but we came home and my temperature shot up, so instead i'm going to bed again. geh, it hurts to type. i wanted to type some things up for ReadingRoom, lit-crit comments I've been meaning to make there, but I just don't have the energy right now.
