I still haven't recalled that key combo to take a screenshot. So I took one with the cam. The colors are washed-out, though. I got the wallpaper HERE, and HERE it is on its own (remove the 1024 from the URL if you want an 800x600 copy). The colorscheme I chose is Slate. the icons and such are from the theme i dismantled. Uten-ize your desktop, and blame Autumn for it. :)

I need to take pics, tonight, of some things I want to sell on ebay. I need to sell or give away so many things. My house is full, and it's so empty. All my memories will crowd me right out the door. But it's getting better, it gets better.
OK, so I have had a headache for the past 24 hours or so.

Now my screen is doing something strange. Horizontal lines of text are wavering from side to side, as though they are shivering or shimmying or something. It's fairly fast, maybe two wiggles per second.

Has this ever happened to anyone else or is it a new sign that my head is about to implode? Whether I look at it close up (from a few inches) or far away, I still see the same wriggle.

Maybe it's my monitor that's about to implode?

I had some profound thoughts (har) to post about relationships and stuff, but this wibblyness is driving me crazy. So now I'm probably just going to go to bed.

Don't ask, just go. & tell me what you think...
went to bed.
read a while.
got up to make sure my mother was up on time for school.
went to mcd's to pick up breakfast for aforementioned parent.
downloading theme-making tools.
talking to H about nothing much. she said that me and B. getting sick the other night was clearly a result of buying food from a bookstore.
i have been up to other things, but even less worth detailing, if that is possible. piddly web-maintenance stuff. bah-humbug.

going to bed again shortly. probably more reading, wondering why i didn't take those pics for ebay, sleeping deeply and with strange dreams. that's a prediction, or a predilection.

one of our neighbors mowed our lawn this weekend. we have no idea who it was. the lawn had not been mowed since october. parts are like straw. the sprinklers are broken. our last lawn guy was not very good. we have been looking for a new one to hire. my mother had decided that our neighbors should be helping us out in the meantime, which i thought was presumptuous... she's upset that nobody offered to help, but in all the years she's lived here, she's barely been social herself, and certainly not helpful to anyone else. anyway, the manicured lawn fairy struck sometime on sunday. they even did the trim. imagine! it's so fabtastular.

i want to start a trend! i want to either write a chain letter that will be passed around, or compose a survey that will end up in my mailbox again in six months, or something. i hope that if i come up with something you will all spread it around like a virus. & i won't tell you what it was until i see it popping up all over. beware! beware!
