eleven hour power outage
Dec. 16th, 2000 09:56 amyes, yes, I just slept for 11 hours. strange dreams, but at least not concerning anyone I really knew, except maybe the cats. Large frogs in an impossible garden. Lesbian sexpot princesses. Hetereosexpot boys and girls doing heroic and political things. Ogres and dragons and battles and unbelievable carnage and aliens and nudity and bravery and plotting and plodding and, eventually, winning, through impossible landscapes, and rooms whose doors were a decorative metal grate. They should let me direct a big-budget historical epic, I'll show them who's boss... ;)
Awoke to B-cat poking me in the back and shouting "rrr! rrr!" in my ear and headbutting me and sticking his nose into my eye socket and generally doing the other irritating things he does when he wants me to wake up and pay attention to him.
Slept right through the Popular Christmas special - well, the last thing I saw was Nicole and Mary Cherry dressed up as cheap hos. Don't think I managed to read anything before becoming one with my pillows and futon, either. I do recall changing my mood icons to the cute little punquin guys.
Still not sure whether or not I am keeping Alice - I like adventure games, where you have to find objects and complete puzzles, or RPGs at worst, and it's a shooter game a la Quake.
Now it's teatime. With cardamon cinnamon tea, and chocolate-covered gingerbread stars, and maybe some crumpets with blackberry sage jam. I'm so bad...
