Nov. 19th, 2000 09:58 amhaha... the last entry was friends-only.
the problem described in it may not be as bad as previously thought... see, it would seem that the receptacle in question has that smell, and... um... well... yeah.
Been up all night... actually I've only been awake for around 13 hours. I want to go to sleep soon. I don't think I will be tired enough to do so for another couple of hours.
Decided that I want to get tarot certification - I've been interested for over 10 years and studying for 6 or 7. Strangely enough, I'm pretty sure that I still couldn't even get the Apprentice level - you have to know a one-phrase meaning for all of the cards. I'm not as good with the minor arcana as I am with the major. I started making a set of flashcards tonight for keywords. I've also never really used much but the Celtic Cross spread - I have experimented with others but that is the one I am most comfortable with... I need to get used to using spreads with fewer cards. I'm probably going to study for a couple of months and then see if I can qualify for the Reader level - it's not that much harder than the Apprentice level. After that maybe I can pick up some part-time work for a new age shop or something. It's funny - I don't believe in any of this in esoteric terms - just intuitive and subconscious terms.
It has fallen to my lot to catch up with all the records I haven't been keeping, specifically, my mother's check record. The household check record. All the bill payments I've made. I have some payments to enter and things to reconcile and carbons to find and such. She is tense about money, so she is making it a bigger deal than it is.
A little while ago I made ramen, then sat down in an unwise position to eat it, and now my sciatic nerve is all pinched and my right leg doesn't want to support me at all. I feel like... oh, "a broken doll" is too dramatic, I think, I feel more like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz. He was always my favorite anyways.
