verbminxwhee! i finally finished my collages for tomorrow. they are all surrealistic photo collages, things where scale and proportion are abused. I have nekkid Sophie Dahl about to be eaten by a giant hand, I have an uber-pug taking up the entire stage area of a theater, and I have a little Devil Girl draping herself seductively across the top of a chest of drawers in a Vatican palazzo.
I take back every complaint I've made about W. I still fucking loathe the useless "Suzy" column, but the rest of it is pretty great for collage materials. Everything but the pug came from there. I think the pug came from an old Vogue or Elle or something. I'd been irritated by my mom's subconscious thievery of an idea I mentioned to her in class the other day (she doesn't remember me telling her that I had a giant chick with a studded collar that I wanted to place in a bucolic landscape, but she ended up producing a different not-as-badass large chick casting his shadow over farmland). Blah! I had to come up with 4 ideas instead of 3. I'm happy with what I finished, so I will endeavor to be forgiving...
I'm hungry and not particularly tired, but I ought to sleep as soon as I can, since I have to get up around 9AM for school. I'm glad that my brain and my energy finally kicked into gear this evening: I ate well, gave N-cat his heart medication ground up in a bowl of food, watched Jonathan Creek, and finished like three loads of laundry.
