verbminxI've been slacking the last few days... not reading here, much, and not feeling like writing much either. Instead I've been in parts of the house where computers are not welcome, or indeed out of the house all together.
We did go to see The Mummy Returns last night... I suppose I would describe it as "amusing". Kind of silly and riddled with inconsistencies, yet the Evil Pygmy Skeleton Army ruled (similar to Mononoke's Kodama, yet... bloodthirsty and stuff). Two hours of my life, gone. But I laughed, I admit it.
Today I slept a lot... my ears have been feeling infected again & I put a new treatment formula in them before I went to sleep. It has a lot of garlic (as well as other things) in an olive oil base, and every time I smell it, I think of breadsticks with dip. I watched Buffy and then Rear Window, which I hadn't seen in years.
Doing well with TMM - I'm already almost to the end of this week's section. I have several dozen tape flag markers sticking out of it, highlighting passages I thought were important. I should use the extra time to take notes on them.
