I avoided her stuff for the longest time because I had the impression that she was basically a whiny fuck-up who had had the advantage of a great education and still managed to be a mess thanks to substance abuse, etc... but I went through a fit of reading all the "insane girl" books a few years back, and Prozac Nation was the best of them. She's such a good writer, and she says things that, as screwed-up as she may be personally, show a great deal of insight and perception on her part. So yeah, I'd read an article she wrote about watching paint dry, really. :) she's very good.
