trilogy tuesday my ass.

Ahhh... I am off to the RETURN OF THE NERDS.
No, it doesn't start for four hours.
I didn't go to The Two Towers early, and ended up about fifteen feet from the screen, and didn't see anything.
So this time, I'm playing it safe.

Other than that... I went to the knitting store today, rah. Bought yarn for Xmas presents for my mom. black merino for glittens. the glittens will have a recycled-sari-silk cuff.

Now I have to go put clothes on and leave. Ciao! I'll tell you how it was, but not until around 4AM EST! :D

I just can't completely embrace my geekdom. I'm always vaguely embarrassed about it! My mom was sad that she didn't have ELF EARS to wear and I was happy for same. I was right though about all the hardcore costume nerds being at Trilogy Tuesday - at the showing I went to, there was one teenage indie-rock/emo girl wearing a rubber Gimli mask (with helmet, face, beard, long hair) - she looked really adorable and cool without the mask, and there was a woman working at the snack bar who had on elf ears. But that was it for conspicuous geekery.

I feel that I must hide my love for my LOTR Risk game... ;)

heh. sounds like fun. i just can't make myself go to see it yet ... it's my desire to finish the trilogy conflicting with my extreme loathing of crowds. maybe i'll go see it christmas day, with all the non-christians. ;)

THEN YOU MUST GO OUT FOR CHINESE FOOD.

around here, it's the only thing the AMC theaters are showing on Wednesday. they have no listings for anything else.
