My dog had a bath last night (it's been, um, a while), and now she smells really good! Her conditioner is particularly lovely in terms of scent. It's competing right now with the scent of last night's dinner, which was one of those frozen meals with no secret nasty ingredients... by Chef's Choice... you get individual things in a bag and you heat them up, ingredient by ingredient. Last night was ham and potatos with vegetables and cheddar, a breakfast meal. Heartily recommended. I also like their Garlic Chicken Primavera with penne pasta.

I just got home from eating donut holes and drinking coffee and watching the ducks in the park by the library. they have a big pond there and it's almost duckling time! quackquackquack. Once upon a time (which is about eight years ago, in this instance) my friends threw me a birthday picnic in that park and I have lots of pics of us cooing over ducklings and hanging from trees and stuff.

I watched Secretary last night, which was really good. I'd been trying to see it for months, but if it played around here at all, I missed it. I checked week after week in the autumn when it was playing everywhere else. Also, I want James Spader to spank me.
