Just skip the first paragraph, & answer the question in the 2nd.

According to Selectsmart.com, I should be either a Unitarian Universalist or a Mahayana Buddhist. How convenient. (Actually, I'm not UU because the local UU stuff is mostly Xian-based & Buddhist UU stuff tends to be in urban areas. There are literally NO Buddhist resources in my county, except what's in bookstores...)

Um, anyway. A small poll.
I am working on "identity" for my little I-Make-Stuff-And-Other-People-Can-Buy-It business. I wanted to make little tags for my items... basically branding, but also, in some cases (knit items), care info. I bought inkjet business cards (perforation-free! yeah!) but I can't decide how to design them - I can't decide whether to print out a normal business card, which is then holepunched in a corner and tied to the item and which I could also just hand to people, OR to design a double-sided thing that is meant to be folded in half to make a little booklet (which I then holepunch and tie similarly to the flat business card). I'm leaning towards the little booklet shape because it gives me more surfaces to work with and also because it's tinier. But LMK your opinion.

The Ear Infection is stable but today my ear really fucking itches. gah. i want to use a sharp-ended stick just to scratch it but that would be very unhealthy, so instead I will try try try to ENDURE. :)

PS. Today's weather: a nasty chilly drizzling rain. Oy.

booklet - much more fun to read and look at and play with - and i think ppl are more likely to read it, which sounds weird, because i don't know if it's true, but i'm basing this on my own preference.

Little booklet... I love to look and play with them on handmade items... very fun! And yes.. more surface for you to work with.. always fun!

aw, I wanted to be a dissenting opinion. . .

Booklets are spiffier than pieces of paper.
More importantly, I'm certain I've seen little cardstock booklets attached to things- er- that people buy. Toy animals. . . or fish. . . or ice cream. . . or something.

(PS. 'I Make Stuff and Other People Can Buy It' woudl be a wonderful name for a business, I think. Very post-modern. ;)

the booklet sounds cuter, but then you can't just hand it to people. however, do you think you'd be doing much of that? it seems like people would only get/care about the card in association with your product (like, some person sees a cute scarf lying on her friend's table and picks it up and goes "oh!")... y'know? so i think i vote for the booklet. :D

Booklet. But make card types things at some point to either hand to people or to include with their purchases so they can have that information handy.

chalk another one up for "booklet." there are far more possibilities.
