I have two things left to wrap! Here is what I got the momster for Xmas:

"Fifteen" Puzzle from Restoration Hardware (she wanted it)
$25 B&N gift card
two astronomy magazines
a big star chart that you can take outside
a leatherbound journal with gilt edges
cute little cat stuffed animal
blue velvet purse
cute flannel pajama pants
green Snoopy holiday tshirt (she wanted it)
Rudolph and Clarice action figures (already gave them to her)
mini Boggle game keychain (already gave it to her)

I put the journal and the gift card into the purse. Also, I have to wrap the star chart, which is a little bigger than a regular vinyl record album, and sort of thin floppy plastic. The stocking is stuffed with the magazines, cat plush, and Fifteen puzzle, and the clothes are in a gift bag.

I was considering making a poll on what to do next year, but then I decided that would be a little sad. A lot sad. You can't tell me. This is just stuff I have to do for myself and I am in a state of dissatisfaction that has to do with hormones, mostly, I think.

I've received several very clear messages about certain things. One of them was walking or falling down the wooden staircase at Autumn's house months ago and coming to the realization that I hate (HATE!) the school I attend. OK, but I still had to finish! Now I've completed about all the classes I can there, and next semester is all about enjoyment, taking classes with teachers I like purely for my own enrichment, and when I went to register, I had all those problems. That was a wake-up call that made me remember promises I made myself in the spring. About getting the heck out.

So I'm doing that boring irritating thing where I whine and bitch and moan and contemplate but don't actually accomplish anything. A job isn't practical right now because of roads that are closed off, unless I start substitute teaching. I guess I'm in a moving mode again. Just undecided as ever about where to go. I think money will dictate that.
