Got lots and lots and lots of sleep last night... about 12 hours. I couldn't be happier about it. I don't like being exhausted by 6PM.

I am very crampy today, but am probably going to head out to Orlando nonetheless, to sit around and read or something. (I guess I don't really have any reason to go out there, either, except that I want to.) My eyes are feeling better today. My ear will be soon.

I'm thinking maybe I should return those Birkenstocks. Yes, they were a good price, but they're Birkenstocks, for crying out loud. They really aren't something I would normally wear, though I do wear a pair of sandals around the house which are vaguely similar in footbed-shape. & I may be kind of slack about my appearance now, and more prone to wearing casual clothes than I used to be, but... I don't think it's gone quite that far yet. I just got a pair of OK sandals by Børn the other day, and those are hippie-ish enough. *twitch*

you have no idea how long it took me to find the ?. alt+0248 on a US keyboard set. Born as the brand name would have just looked wrong. they are nice little scandanavian-looking brown leather things.

well... you know my feet are bad and the shoes have a metatarsal arch support in the footbed, which is really hard to find. also, the straps are black pebbly leather, not brown nubuck or anything. they're not bad for birks, but they ARE birks. so I don't know.
