Here is something I must add so that all my friends can make fun of me:
A while ago I bought a Rubbermaid BagelKeeper. I was so thrilled: finally! a place in which I can keep my tasty treats before I cook them! hurrah!
Last week I brought bagels home and confidently, happily placed them in their designated container.
Today I looked at the remaining bagels, which I haven't touched in a few days.
They have large green fuzzy polkadots on them.
While this is innovative and decorative, not to mention medicinal, I doubt it will be palatable.
Back to the drawing board. My mother says I should slice the bagels before I put them into the container, and then store the whole mess in the freezer. It's an idea.
