So what do you think is the approximate fame/respect level at which you can actually get away with sticking a famous/classic author of the past in your title without goons like us rolling our eyes? ;)

Clearly the Murakami level, but are there people above him who couldn't get away with it or below him who could?

And does the rule go for other famous people, too - IE the novel Audrey Hepburn's Neck or maybe The Dream of Scipio? "Inquiring minds" etc.
